MEDICAL VALUE

Many are crying today – “We wish we were in Europe; “We wish we were in America”; “Oh, if only we were very rich!” Why? Because they face health challenges and consider the Western world to be places where medical expertise is readily available. But according to Jeremiah 8: 19-20, such people are only provoking God to anger by being envious of those who are in a “far country”:

Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
Jeremiah 8:19-22

There is nothing in a far country that is not available in Zion.

God is asking, “Why are you wishing you were somewhere else? Why are you running after native doctors and crying after specialists? Is not the Lord in Zion, is your king not at hand?

There is nothing in a far country comparable with what Zion has to offer. There is a balm in Gilead but the people are still battered, buffeted, oppressed and shattered because the Balm has been ignored and the Physician has been disregarded....READ MORE

THE ULTIMATE DIET

As far as God is concerned, the quality of what you eat determines the quality of life you bear; it determines the quality of health and the quality of vigour and vitality that is operational in you. In Psalm 103:1-5, the psalmist said, Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

God satisfies your mouth with good things so that your days are renewed like the eagles. The better the food you eat, the better the health you enjoy.

Among the benefits of redemption is the provision of a spiritual menu that guarantees a sound body and flourishing health. When Jesus first introduced this meal, the Bible tells us that, And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many (Mk. 14:22-24). He told them “my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed” (Jn. 6:55). That is, “I am giving you the highest form of nutrients you will ever need anywhere in the world.”...READ MORE

THE GREAT PHYSICIAN

And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 9:10-13

The secrets of men are in their stories. Jesus was simply introducing Himself here: "I am the Great Physician, I have come to save the lost". If you have been lost in sickness, the Great Physician has come to heal you....READ MORE

GOD'S MEDICINE

God’s Word is His medicine for the believer. Many people wonder what keeps us going without patronizing the clinics and chemists. We have our own brand of medicine that is more effective than medical science. It is God’s Word!

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-22

The Word is health to all their flesh - healthy livers, healthy kidneys, healthy intestines, healthy bones, healthy marrows, healthy eyes, healthy ear, nose, mouth, legs. It is health to every part of the body of whosoever finds it. The moment the Words enters into you, you become a different person altogether The Word transforms your body to health.

God's Word is an all-purpose drug. Actually, the word translated "health" in verse 22 is also translated "medicine." It is an all-purpose medicine sent to you by God, to immunize you against all forms of sickness and to keep you healthy all the time. All you need to do now is find out how to administer God's medicine in your own situation. This where wisdom comes in.

Wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of your times (Isaiah 33:6). In the physical, if a doctor gives you some drugs, he will definitely give you the prescription for maximum results. If you are given injection drugs to be injected directly into the blood streams and you decided to use your discretion and mix it with your food as a time-saving device (after all, it will get into the body at last), you will run into difficulties....READ MORE

PRAYER BOOSTERS

There are certain covenant forces that reinforce your prayer. They are not supplementary to prayer, but rather complementary. These boosters not only enhance communication in prayer, but also aid other aspects of spiritual growth and encounters.

You need reinforcements in prayer, because there are certain oppositions that will not answer to faith and prayer alone. Such oppositions require your building up a stronger spiritual energy to deal with them.

Fasting

After emphasizing the role of faith in dealing with oppositions, Jesus further said to his disciples:

Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Matthew 17:21

No matter the kind of opposition standing against you, it is not higher than the one Jesus is referring to here. A combination of faith, prayer and fasting will bring it into submission.

Unfortunately, there have been many erroneous beliefs about fasting. In my early Christian days, people used to equate fasting with spirituality. They see it as a competition among themselves, seizing every opportunity to boast about their fasting ability. Jesus fasted for forty days and never made reference to it once, but the effect was evident in His life and ministry. When fasting is void of tangible results, it is a mere waste of time and efforts.

The purpose of fasting is for the release of power. It is not to beg God to act, neither is it to impress Him or force Him to grant your request. Rather, it is a spiritual device that empowers you with the unction needed to deal with the issues facing you. In Luke 4:14, after Jesus had fasted for forty days, the Bible says:

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

When we are in a fast, we are not begging or struggling with the devil to leave; we are connecting with heaven, for the release of power to send the devil packing from our environment. That is why during a fast, you must have periods of separation to study and fellowship with the Word of God....READ MORE

APPROACHING THE THRONE ROOM

Your heart and Word preparations must be followed up with a proper presentation of your request, if you must see your desired results in prayers.

In 1 Kings 18, Elijah completed all the preparatory processes of repairing the broken down altar, laying the wood in order and digging the trenches. After that, he put the burnt sacrifice on the altar and then lifted up his voice in communication with heaven and the fire fell.

Also, when David was going to face Goliath, he prepared himself by going to the brook to pick five smooth stones. But he didn't stop there. He approached the giant, cursed him in the name of the Lord, and while the giant was still wondering if David was actually coming to fight him or not, the stone from David's sling had gone into his forehead, and he was brought down (1 Sam. 17:40-50).

Effectual prayer begins with Word preparation, but it delivers through a sound-connection with heaven.

Faith

After locating the will of God concerning your situation, the next thing to be done is to build up faith for effectual communication. Faith is a potent force without which prayer will be absolutely unproductive. The Bible calls faith "The substance of things hoped for..." (Heb. 11:1). That means it is the ticket on which you take delivery of anything from heaven.

After Jesus healed the lunatic child His disciples couldn't heal, they came to Him later to ask why they couldn't cast the devil out of the child. Jesus' response is very revealing:

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Matthew 17:19-20

Until faith is in place, prayer will only end up in frustration. As powerful as the Word of God is, it can only produce when faith is present....READ MORE

GOD'S MASTER KEY TO DIVINE HEALTH

It is very important for you to live in the consciousness of the truth that, among other things, Jesus has taken away your sicknesses. If you know how expensive it is to keep a healthy body in the world today, you will give praise to God for the health you enjoy now because you are in His service. He said if you serve Him, He will remove sickness from you (Exodus 23:25).

One of the areas where the devil will really publicize himself in this end-time is in the area of sickness. On the other hand, however, God is going to strongly establish His covenant of divine health with His people.

Through divine health, God is going to make the difference clear between His people and the rest of the world. God has contracted a covenant of good health with His people from the beginning. He has spoken to our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Sickness was strange to them. They did not have any reason to be sick. The covenant forbade them to be sick.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
Psalm 89:34

They were under a great covenant. We have been brought under this same covenant also by the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:13-14

Christ came to make you a partaker of this great covenant of divine health. The covenant belongs to you also. There are, however, some things you need to do. If you leave them undone, your health is not guaranteed. You need to do them and observe them closely to be in health.

God has paid for every inconvenience within and outside you. He has no plan for any part of you to harbour any form of pain. But it takes doing what God has said, to stay in that high premise of divine health...READ MORE

YOUR RIGHT TO HEALTH

The fulfillment of this covenant of health was clearly manifested in the lives of the people of Israel, the Church in the wilderness (Acts 7:38). They moved with God and served Him and as long as they obeyed God and were in His service, He upheld the covenant of health He had earlier made with them.

He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble (weak, sick) person among their tribes.
Psalm 105:37

The Psalmist is talking about the church in the wilderness. He is giving an account of how God brought them out with strength and throughout their forty years journey, there was no sick person among their tribes. Sickness had no entrance into their midst.

Note that this was for the church in the wilderness, under the ministration of death, with the old covenant. And if the ministration of death could be that glorious, such that there was no feeble person among all their tribes, how much more shall the ministration of life excel in glory.

The figurative church had no sickness. The real body - the church of the Lord Jesus Christ should not have any such thing! The Bible says that Jesus Christ was the rock that followed them in the wilderness. He was with them as a rock, he is now with us as the Living Saviour. The risen and glorified Christ is with the New Testament Church. He is exalted and set on the right hand of Majesty on high. God’s divine purpose for the church is to stay in divine health.

In the beginning, we are told that God created man and everything that was necessary, and He saw that it was very good. But do you ever notice that God did not provide a means for healing?....READ MORE

WHAT PRAYER DOES

Prayer has diverse benefits for the believer. As the issues and circumstances of life vary, so also does prayer address the various needs of man.

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Ephesians 6:18

This implies that there are different kinds of prayer, and they accomplish different things in a believer's life. Let us examine some of them.

It Provokes Help From Above

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:16

Without help from above, we are helpless on the earth. The enemy is fierce. He knows his time is short, so he is out against the children of God with full force. The wickedness on the earth is intense, but we have access to help from heaven to overcome them all through prayers. That is why the Bible says:

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Psalm 127:1

Every blessing and accomplishment in life comes as a result of the helps of God. Paul said in Acts 26:22:

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

He was preaching the same message as other apostles in his time, but he got better results because he had the help of God. The Psalmist, though a great man of war who never lost a battle, knew this secret. In Psalm 60:11-12, he prayed:

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

The Bible also tells us the secret of king Uzziah's successful reign:

Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.

And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.

And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.
2 Chronicles 26:1,5,7

Prayer is not just telling God your needs, because He already knows them (Matt. 6:32). It is getting Him to intervene in your situation on the basis of His Word. God is your heavenly Father and He knows your needs, but you require His help to overcome the enemy....READ MORE

THE FORCE OF PRAYER

Prayer is a force in the hand of the believer when approached Scripturally. It is one of God's covenant tools for the realization of our glorious destinies in Christ.

Jesus told His disciples a parable in Matthew 13:24-28:

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

He said unto them, An enemy hath done this...

Everything contrary to good in the life of the believer is the work of the enemy. The devil is the believer's number one enemy, and the Bible warns us against him:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 Peter 5:8

So, behind that setback, that unending struggle and those continuous breakdowns is "an enemy". But why is he so determined and hell-bent on seeing you fail? Look at what the Bible says concerning you in Isaiah 5:1-2:

Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein...

This is why the enemy is interested in you! He is jealous of you, because you are God's choicest vine. By redemption through the blood of Jesus, you are planted on a most fruitful hill. Not only that, you are fenced and protected. God has invested His best in you. The Bible also tells us in Psalm 92:13-14:

Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

No wonder the enemy is so jealous! He wants you down like himself. Just like he did not rest until he got Adam out of the garden of Eden, he has vowed not to rest until he gets you off the course of your destiny. He is determined to see you don't enter your Canaan, but he will not succeed, in Jesus' name!..READ MORE

HARD WORK

If you really desire success, you must work hard for it. Success does not fall on people’s laps. It is not obtained on a platter of gold. You have to work your way through to it.

If you look at people who are lazy and idle, you easily see on them that they are not ever going to make any success. They are such failures. The requirement for failure is laziness and idleness.

Ecclesiastes 10:18 says: "By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through"

You cannot be successful in any area of life if you are not hard working. It is one other factor of great significance. You need to be diligent in business, at school, in ministry, if you must be a success. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:29,

"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men"

That is God’s formula for success - diligence. He said if you do not want to fail (stand before mean men, men of no repute, men of no substance), be diligent in your work. Work hard and you will not keep company with those strugglers at the base of the ladder. You will be up there with kings...READ MORE

THE CONTROL VALVE

Another important ingredient for success in all life endeavours is discipline. It is as important as wisdom. You may be a Solomon in wisdom but if you are a Samson in discipline, you will not make it. Your wisdom will become foolishness because unused wisdom is in fact worse than folly. Wisdom is the ability to know what to do under a specific situation, but discipline is the ability to bring or train yourself to doing it. You see how related these two ingredients are. They are very important.

Many christians are not balanced. They do something to the extreme and leave others out completely. That is not discipline. It is doing the right thing at the right time and at the rate it should be done. One who is not living or walking in discipline is like a child. You cannot commit any serious thing into his hand. He cannot handle it. It is like handing an automatic revolver over to a child of four years. In the first place, he may use it against himself. He is not disciplined in mind to understand the functions of the gun he is handling. He may then end up using it against himself....READ MORE

WISDOM: THE PRINCIPAL THING

God means for you to have good success. That is His master-plan for you. He is not happy seeing you a failure. Failure is not in God’s nature. He does not have it and does not want it for you. It is a symptom of spiritual death. God wants you a success!

As each blessing of scripture carries a demand to fulfill specific conditions, success has its mode of operation and wisdom is one of the principal things needed for it.

Ecclesiastes 10:5-10 tells us of an evil under the sun, and the evil is, servants riding on horses and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

"There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, an error which proceedeth from the ruler: folly is set in great dignity and the rich set in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking like servants upon the earth.... If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put forth more strength, but wisdom is profitable to direct"

The summary of this passage is that the reason why princes have had to start walking on foot while servants ride on horses is folly. He said, "folly is set in great dignity." It is folly. The prince has begun to operate foolishly and folly is a basic prerequisite for removal from the princely office...READ MORE

GUARD YOUR MIND

Most people have not come to realize the important part the mind plays in their day to day life and experience.

Man is tripartite. He is principally a spirit, has a soul and lives in a house called the body. The truth has eluded many for so long. They only see things from the physical perspective. They do not have a clear understanding of their nature. They do not know that they are spirits, like God is.

The word says, "He that is born of the Spirit is spirit." God is a Spirit; We are born of God, so we are spirits! But that is not the end. You also have a soul which comprises the mind, emotions and the will. The soul is generally referred to as the seat of the person (personality). The mind is a very important department of the soul. It is the seat of the intellect. It has to do directly with what you think and how you think. It controls your personal self-esteem. In many places, it is rendered as the heart......READ MORE

THE WAY TO SUCCESS

There is always a way to enjoying every provision God has made for you in His word. If you must enter into it, you must do it God’s way. You cannot push God’s method of doing it aside and expect to get the result.

The Bible is God’s blueprint of success for the whole of mankind. It is full of prescriptions that cannot fail. They will always work and produce the desired results, if correctly received and applied appropriately. It is a universal spiritual law. It does not know places, geographical barriers, cultures, situations and circumstances. It is not localized, restricted or confined to a particular group or social set up. It works all the time and for all who care to apply the principles accordingly. The principles for failure proof-success is clearly stated out in the book of Joshua 1:8. It says:

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success"

Three principles clearly stand out from this passage. They are:

1. Speak the word,

2. Meditate on the word, and

3. Do the word.

Success is God’s will for all believers, but it is obvious that not all Christians are successful. Many are as unsuccessful as failure today, yet it is God’s will for them to be conspicuously successful. Success is not automatic. It will not fall like a ripe mango fruit on your laps. There are certain practical requirements and responsibilities you are expected to meet and carry out before you can get your success.....READ MORE

ABOVE ONLY

Most Christians are used to the ordinary. They have built up an impression that good success is not their lot. They believe that it is good to just barely make it. They are satisfied with a mere pass. They have lost sight of, or do not even know, the fact that God intends good success for them. They are completely ignorant of God’s provision for them to be above only and not beneath.

In Deuteronomy 28, the Bible says God’s intention for you is to be ABOVE ONLY. That is to say success only and always; not failure....READ MORE

SUCCESS: YOUR COVENANT RIGHT

At new birth, you entered into a covenant relationship with God. This covenant covers all areas of your life. God has done everything to make you a success. He has made a grand design of success for you. His will for you is success and it is spelt out in His Word.

The problem with many of God’s people is that they lack the knowledge of this truth. They do not know that God has planned and programmed them for success. So they continue to live purposelessly. They do not have knowledge of their success. They are confused. They drift and wander because they have no knowledge motivation for success.

Lack of knowledge is one of the most dreadful spiritual diseases. It is basic that you cannot rise above the level of what you know. Knowledge has a way of affecting and influencing an individual’s personality and well-being. If you do not know something, you cannot use it. You cannot reap what you have not sown. There must be sowing before reaping. So you cannot use knowledge you do not possess. That is why the world says, "Knowledge is power." This is very true. Knowledge actually gives power. When you know something, you have the ability to control it. That ability proceeds from knowledge. God says, ignorance (the absence of knowledge) destroys.....READ MORE

The summary of this passage is that the reason why princes have had to start walking on foot while servants ride on horses is folly. He said, "folly is set in great dignity." It is folly. The prince has begun to operate foolishly and folly is a basic prerequisite for removal from the princely office.

God wants you to retain your horseback status. He does not intend that servants take your place. He wills you to be a good success, an eternal excellency, a joy and pride of many generations. But this is only obtainable by forsaking foolishness and walking in wisdom. In verse 10, he said, wisdom is profitable to direct.

Wisdom is the principal tool in maintaining your horseback position. As a king, Saul, Israel’s first monarch, lost his exalted position for lack of wisdom (1 Samuel 13:13).

"And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly; thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which He commanded thee; for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel forever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue..."

He lost the prospect of his dignity being established over Israel on an eternal basis simply because he acted foolishly. You cannot operate folly and expect your kingdom to continue. You cannot behave without wisdom and expect to be successful. Success is attained and retained by wisdom. If at any time you fall short of wisdom, there is no other substitute that can work. Wisdom is wisdom. Other things are other things. Wisdom is profitable to direct. It will be an act of folly for me to come to church and begin to single out one deacon after another telling their faults and deficiencies.

There are things that do not require prayers to solve. A mere application of wisdom gets the situation easily under control. Things that have been developed and cultivated vigorously and carefully over the years can be destroyed in a matter of minutes for lack of wisdom.

It becomes very important therefore to be guided and directed by this all important tool for success. You cannot go too far without wisdom. It is so crucial that the Bible says it is the principal thing. Notice that in a school setting, you have a principal course (your major), minors, and electives which are optional. It does not matter how well you perform in the minors and electives, if you fail the major course, you cannot be said to have passed.

So also, in order to have good success, wisdom is of paramount significance. Without it, you cannot make it. It is the foundation upon which the success complex is built. And if this foundation is weak or non-existent, what sort of building would you claim to have? The fact is, you need wisdom more than any other thing. If you must have good success, you must pass the wisdom-test. It is indispensable.

I have seen mighty prayer warriors who have never tasted success. They are not likely to taste it until they acquire this all important ingredient - wisdom. I have heard and seen people who confess the word rigorously but have not got the result they desire. They lack wisdom. The Bible clearly states that wisdom is the principal determinant of success...READ MORE

UNDERSTANDING THE MIND

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Proverbs 4:23

Biologically, the heart is the centre of life. The Bible also reinforces the fact that your mind acts as the pivot around which your whole existence revolves, as it is where thinking takes place (Prov. 23:7).

Success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging your senses positively. Man’s brain is the myth behind all his gains. Every gain in life is a result of the use of the brain. No one reigns in life without the use of the brain. It is the effective use of the brain that secures you a throne here on earth. Every star in life is essentially sense-made. Heights in life are results of insights inside of a man.

Success, therefore, is a product of the right use of the sense. No school has a Faculty of Success. It is the use of the sense that commands success. Supernatural intelligence therefore calls for extreme attention.

FUNCTIONS OF THE MIND

By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
Ecclesiastes 10:18

Anything that is not put to use will become disused and will soon cease to function. Even in the natural, you will discover that any building not put to use soon begins to run down. It runs down faster than a building that is fully in use.

In like manner, your mind has specific tasks that it carries out. If not put to use, it will run down. To keep it in top form, all you need do is ask yourself, “What are the fundamental functions of my mind, so I can keep it alive, and not watch it run down?”

Let me outline four major functions of the mind; your mind will be productive, if fully engaged in them.

Learning

Learning takes place in the mind. The mind is able to acquire and store information, making it available for use when it is required.

Dr. T. L. Osborn said something, which I totally agree with. He said, “When you stop learning, you start dying.” Abraham Lincoln also said, “When you stop learning, you’re old, whether at 20 or 80.”

Your age is not what determines old age. If your mind is not put to proper use, your body soon begins to age. If you keep your mind young by putting it to proper use, it will “youngen” your body. The great task before you, therefore, is to keep your mind alive, through a consistent learning process, so you don’t become outdated. Be conscious of the need to be current. Be open to learn. The largest room in the world, we are told, is the room for improvement.....READ MORE

THE REALITY OF SUPERNATURAL MENTALITY

Supernatural placement in the kingdom of God is a function of the operation of a supernatural mentality.

In Daniel chapter five, we are told the story of King Belshazzar who saw a handwriting on the wall and called in the astrologers, Chaldeans and soothsayers to give the interpretation. But none of them all could read the writing or make known to the king the interpretation of it. Then the queen came in and said:

There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;

Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.....READ MORE

YOUR MIND IS THE SEAT OF WISDOM

Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge. It is the last step in the thinking process, after which action follows.

Knowledge says, “Surely He has borne my sicknesses and carried my pains. Himself took my infirmity and bore my diseases, and by His stripes, I was healed.” Understanding then comes along and says, “If He has already borne your sicknesses, then you’re not sick!” Wisdom then says, “If you’re not sick, then stop feeling sick! Stop looking and acting sick, if you must ever get well.”

It’s a process. You have taken delivery of the fact, you have understood it, and now you want to benefit from it.....READ MORE
